Students will study optical instruments that can be adequately described using geometrical optics. Students will learn how to intelligently use those instruments. The eye, the magnifying glass, the camera, telescopes, microscopes and eyepieces are are discussed in most optics textbooks. Students are expected to study the material presented in the textbook and the Web material.
